V Latin American Animal Nutrition Congress CLANA.I Latin American Animal Nutrition Industrial and Technological ExpoCLANA was born on 2002 from an initiative between the Brazilian Colege of Animal Nutrition (CBNA) and the Mexican Animal Nutrition Specialists Association (AMENA) with the objective of being a discussion forum on the Latin American situation regarding animal nutrition and production. This idea grew and was implemented on 2003 at the I CLANA Congress in Cancun, Mexico. Since then, this event has taken place every two years alternating the location between Mexico and Brazil so far. For the V edition of this Congress, AMENA has committed to fulfill the original CLANA mission by making this a plural discussion forum with the active participation of more than 15 countries throughout the region. With this purpose on mind, the organizing committee has signed strategic alliances with the main feed producers associations such as: CONAFAB, AMEPA, ANFACA and CAENA, which will collaborate not only promoting the event among their associates but also proposing themes and speakers of their interest to be part of the scientific program and discuss openly the real problems that this industry faces in different countries. |
